In some cases an incorrect, outdated or disproportionate BKR registration can be removed or corrected, especially once the underlying debt is repaid. Removal is not automatic and must be requested with the lender that made the registration or with BKR. A well-supported request improves the chance of success, which can matter for a future mortgage.
